The tragic event involved two vehicles and has led to the arrest of two suspects as investigations continue.

According to the Duncanville Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:45 p.m. to the intersection of West Wheatland Road and South Cedar Ridge Drive.

Upon arrival—just seconds after the emergency call—first responders discovered a severe multi-victim collision involving two cars:

  • A white Chrysler 300 with a single occupant
  • A gray Toyota Corolla carrying four passengers

Emergency teams immediately began life-saving efforts at the scene.

Police stated that a white Chrysler 300 and a black Chrysler 300 were reportedly racing westbound on West Wheatland Road when one of the vehicles struck the Toyota Corolla.

Officials confirmed that the impact occurred on the passenger side of the Corolla, resulting in catastrophic damage and multiple fatalities.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud impact followed by chaos at the scene. One individual described being nearby when the collision occurred and said bystanders attempted to assist victims immediately, although the injuries were too severe.
